Cranberries for Thursday (and Friday, Too)
By FLORENCE FABRICANT

Published: November 19, 2003

Clarisse Persanyi, a former international banker on Wall Street, has a mission: to put cranberries on the table year-round. So six weeks ago she opened a shop, All Things Cranberry, in Monmouth Beach, N.J. "We're only about 25 miles from New Jersey's cranberry farms," she said. And the timing is excellent.

Her cranberry-tomato salsa ($7 for 10.5 ounces) will make the turkey sit up and take notice. She also sells cranberry bars ($18 for 1 1/2 pounds), cranberry-almond brownies ($15 a pound), cranberry macaroons ($4.50 for six) and cranberry cookies and muffins. The items are sold at the store, 36 Beach Road No. 12, or can be ordered by phone, (732) 870-8866, or by e-mail, allthingscranberry@verizon.net. Cranberry-apple crumble pie, $9.75, must be ordered a day in advance and is sold only at the store.
